To watch someone Grow
Is priceless.
The surprise, the awe
The disorientation, the unknowing
Often accompanied by lightness and radiance.
‘This is all new for me’
‘This is NOT how I usually do things!’

Yes.
A new beginning.
A gleam in the eye.
A giggle. An extending of both arms as if to say ‘what is going on?!’
A bit of embarrassment, cheeks flushed, as if the body too
Is trying to figure out ‘what in the world’s happening?’
Watching someone ‘come into being’
Is like checking on morning glories when the sun comes up
Noticing a FRESH NEW FLOWER.
What? Where did that come from?
Overnight… miraculously a new purple/blue flower
Stunning, delicate, fresh, ALIVE, newly born and beautiful.

Or like when a hummingbird buzzes-by, catching you by surprise …
The heart skips a beat, I break into smile, REALLY? My whole body says!
Delight! Joy! Gratitude.
A graced ‘visitation’
Thank you!
Watching you ‘come into being’
is priceless. A miracle. YOUR joy was palpable
and became MY joy.
YOUR radiance – OUR radiance.
Your glow anointing our whole space.
Your growth became OUR growth.
To watch someone grow…
is to GROW right along with them.
A Divine Exchange…
Truly a miracle
bearing great fruit …fresh and new…for all.
“Yeshua says: Come into being
As you pass away” – Gospel of Thomas, Logion 42.
