Inner Doors

I actually love the interior life,
Living deep within, where love, beauty, and Spirit
Intertwine; where symbols start to pattern,
Where dots start to align, where clarity starts
To unfurl.
I LOVE listening to life, allowing the silence of time
To reveal.
The place where “you find inner doors you never knew were there
And you swing them open…
To let them rewrite you, remake you, rebirth you.”
That in fact is what sabbath is for me;
what a summer rhythm of ‘ordinary time’ is to me.
A relaxing into ease,
Allowing inner doors to swing open
And clarify the scale of life,
Shine a light on what I’ve been thinking,
what’s been forming me,
What larger patterns of synchronicity
have been playing out
over the course of the last 6 months,
over the last year.
Inner time is essential time
A deep breath.
An inner clarity, cohesion, calm, and cleanse.
Life seems to happen on one plane,
But an inner life allows us to see
what’s happening in a whole
other dimension.
To see ‘What’s really going on’;
Underneath, the chiastic pattern
Playing out in love
In faith, in invitation...a new portal.
An inner life adds color, texture, dimensionality
and the discovery of new inner doors to walk through.
(Today's poem prompt from Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer's poem: “Condition”; https://ahundredfallingveils.com/2021/11/08/condition/ "you find inner doors you never knew were there, And you swing them open…
To let them rewrite you, remake you, rebirth you.”)
