Julian of Norwich and Brigid in Conversation: Women of Prayer -- Women of Courage

Julian of Norwich, a woman devoted to deep prayer and accompaniment of others, calls to us today. Julian held that God is closer than our very soul, and she welcomed both God and Jesus as Mother, inviting us too to welcome the strength of the feminine within. I, Marcella, have fallen in love with Julian's devotional heart of embodied prayer and I invite her to teach us what she knows of this vast enlivened love.

St. Brigid of Ireland, a woman of threshold, fire, and courage calls to us today.  As one who was a beacon of light in her time, she shines with inspiration for us now.  I, Cathy, have been greatly impacted by this woman from the 5^th C, and I invite us into a time of learning, pondering, and receiving wisdom we need for the times we are in.
